City College of Tagaytay (CCT) celebrated their annual foundation week and intramurals on September 27-28, 2018 as the school was already on their 15 years of service to the public and the community.

An assembly was held at Tagaytay City Oval at 7:00am in the morning, 27th of September, for the mass parade at the CCT with the     participation of Tagaytay Drum and Bugle Corps (DBC), different varsity players holding flags representing their schools, the students of School and Business Management (SBM), School of Computer Studies (SCS), School of Education (SEd), CCT Senior High School (CCT-SHS), School of    Hospitality and Tourism Management (SHTM), School of Sciences and Arts (SSA), Student Affairs and Services (SAS), School of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (SSPEAR) and the office staff of CCT and was   headed by the college president, Mrs. Pacita Z. Aquino.

The opening program started at 7:30am, with an invocation of CCT Chorale, followed by the national anthem led by the Tagaytay DBC. The intramurals torch was lit by Ace Abraham Ramos, varsity basketball player of CCT, in which the flame represents the basic spiritual significance of the Olympic movement and a symbol of peace during the games.

Erica Pendon, the gold medalist of Discus Throw during ALCUAA 2018 led the athlete’s oath after the lighting of torch. The college president, Mrs. Pacita Z. Aquino, made an opening remark to formally open the intramurals followed by a Zumba exercise by the instructors, faculty staff and CCT students.

A series of events followed the opening program throughout the rest of the day and the following day.
