Sharp as ever, Computer Science Department won the game and booked the top spot in the finals of the basketball men division after sub during Tycoons with 103-102 held at CCT Wild Boar Gym, September 23, 2015. 

Breaking away in the 1st making deadly outside- the –perimeter- shots and defending unforgivingly against DBA tycoons, CS never looked back, as Alejandro Rosanes #12 lead the 1st quarter with 27-19.

It was the defense of the CS especially in the second quarter that propelled them to 8 points lead, 46-35. With a good dribble motion Christian Vargas #9 and Jeric Pantoja #14 spread the score dooming the tycoon’s in the game.

On the second half of the game Ace Ramos #14, from the tycoon’s close the fight to 49-49. Benjhon Deniña found and made easy baskets and ended the 3rd quarter to 66-62.

Doing enough to cross the miss, Ramos, #14 gave a huge hit and down the score to 88-87  with more than one minute left CS never lost their way and tie the score to 90-90 in the 4th quarter of the game which led them to overtime. 

It was thrilling overtime match as Ramos heated up the court drowning a back-to-back bank shot with the combination of box and one defense of the tycoon’s. But CS never lost their possession for shooting and created a rainbow shot which led them to 103-102.

“During the overtime match sinabi ko na chill lang mananalo tayo teaqmwork lang, at ito masaya ako kasi 1st year pa lang ako at nag champion agad kami ng mg aka-team ko sa basketball” said Rosanes.
